Hello my name is Richard Valenzuela. I was born and raised in the Sun City, and have long strong roots in my El Paso community. I lived on the eastside of El Paso my whole childhood and graduated from J.M. Hanks High School. After graduation I went to Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches Texas. While I was away in college I was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and SFA Rugby Club, where I held offices secretary and treasurer. In Nacogdoches I was in the Food Industry where I started from the lowest position in the company and worked hard to make my way to one of the Top Director Positions.
When I moved back, I owned 2 Restaurants in the El Paso East Side Community and I served as owner and operator. My work ethic spoke for itself and I gained a reputation of being a hard worker and someone that was not afraid to get his hands dirty. It also taught me the importance of customer service and showed me the importance of showing detail in your work and being proud of the product or work that you are serving.
When I moved back to the Sun City which I truly love, I also try to give back to my community as much as possible. I've volunteered at El Paso Fighting Hunger and local Churches in the dioceses. If I'm not at the office you can probably catch me at El Paso Chihuahuas or an El Paso Locomotives game, which I am a fanatic and proud of. I plan to serve my community with passion and utmost level of respect. I have a commitment of providing good customer service because I believe everyone should be treated the way, they themselves would want to be treated.
