Though I was born in Oklahoma, I have never really known anywhere other than El Paso. I grew up on the west side and was part of the first graduating class at Franklin High School. I attended college at New Mexico State University where I earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Mathematics. Since then I have spent most of my time devoted to teaching at Dona Ana Community College.
I was introduced to real estate by my partner, Carlos and his step father Chuck Cochran. After joining Lozano Real Estate Group, I continued my journey by assisting other agents in the office with what I could without a license. It took about five years before I decided to take the plunge and get my own license.
Through my contacts within the office, I have chosen to focus my attention in assisting with the property management portion of the company. I have enjoyed establishing relationships with the landlords and tenants. Most of my workload is behind the scenes preparing paperwork, preparing market analyses, and communicating via email.
At this time I am still teaching at the college, but hope that I can become a full time realtor in the near future. I look forward to my continued education in the industry and am currently working towards getting my Certified Property Manager certification.
