Growing up in Chardon, Ohio…a typical small farming heartland town populated with hard working families…gave me opportunity to observe the value of hard work and the importance of respect for others. My father, as the manager and owner of a competitive trucking firm, also challenged me to excel and to value my word. Concurrently, while in school, I began developing a love for sports and a thirst for competition.
After high school, I attended Graceland College majoring in Social Work. There has always been something about dealing with people and assisting them in addressing their concerns. Later these skills would serve me well, as I would live and work in Independence, Missouri and Hobbs, New Mexico.
In 1987 I moved to El Paso. The beautiful and colorful sunrises and sunsets along with the strong Mexican culture enthralled me. Finally after all my wandering, I had a feeling of home again.
El Paso’s continued growth and development, along with the movement of people, from such different places, caught my attention. It was interesting to witness the blending of farming, commerce, and military. All these elements sparked an interest in real estate. I began to consider selling homes, realizing it would permit me to interact with people and to help them settle into El Paso. A few years later, in February of 1990, I earned my Real Estate License.
Assisting families and individuals to find the right match in a home is a unique challenge. Staying current of legal requirements and electronic innovations has demanded that I work hard to be successful. The changes in the flow of business and getting to know my clients have helped me to grow, not only business wise, but also in my personal life.
Giving back to our community is also important. Through my church, I facilitate a Grief Sharing Class on Monday nights 2-3 hours lasting 13weeks. On the other hand, I really enjoy the camaraderie and excitement of team Bowling.
I will always try to meet your real estate needs with respect and motivation. Life has many lessons and I hope to meet them with hard work and honesty.
